General Information
INFORMATION FOR SPEAKERS
Two Speaker Ready Rooms will operate throughout the duration of the Congress. Speakers are kindly requested to hand in all material of their presentation (USB-key, CD-ROM, DVD) at least two (2) hours before their scheduled presentation time. If your presentation is scheduled early in the morning, you are kindly requested to check your presentation at the Speaker Ready Room the day before.
Important notice for Macintosh computer users/holders: Files in PPT format can be submitted in USB. If any pictures are included in the presentation these should be saved in JPG format. If you wish to connect your own Macintosh computer to the projector please make sure that you have your mini firewire adaptor to VGA or your DVI adaptor to VGA.
If you are using embedded video clips in your presentation, please remember to submit video files separately. The following equipment will be available:
PC, overhead projector, data video projector (PowerPoint presentations).
BADGES
Delegates' badges will be available at the Congress Secretariat in the Congress venue from June 28th to July 3rd, 2008. It is necessary for all participants to wear their badges both in the Congress and in the Exhibition Area.
ΒΟΟΚ OF ABSTRACTS
Abstracts of invited speakers, oral & poster presentations are included in the book of abstracts, provided to all registered delegates.
ΕXHIBITION
The exhibition will be open during Congress hours, from June 28th to July 3rd. For further information, please consult the Sponsors/Exhibitors Catalogue.
LANGUAGE
English is be the official language of the Congress.
LIABILITY AND INSURANCE
The Organizing Committees as well as the Congress Organizer will assume no liability for injuries or losses of any nature incurred by participants and/or accompanying persons, or for the damage to, loss or theft of their personal belongings. Participants are advised to take out their own personal insurance.
MOBILE PHONES
Delegates are kindly requested to switch off their mobile phones while in session halls.
PRESS OFFICE
A press office will operate within the Congress venue from June 29th to July 30rd, 2007, providing working stations, wi-fi internet connection, as well as printing and photocopying facilities for accredited media representatives.
SMOKING POLICY
Smoking is not allowed in the indoor areas of the Congress venue.
